Celebrating the Life of Anthony L. Sandifer
Anthony Leroy Sandifer, affectionately known as "TONY", was born in Washington, DC, on February 11, 1958 to Yvonne V. Douglas and the late Leroy Sandifer. He spent his earlier life growing up in the Northeast section of Washington, D.C.
He was educated in the D C Public School system until 1969. After we moved to Maryland, while attending Robert Goddard Junior High School, he was rated the fastest runner in Prince George's County. He graduated from Croom Vocational School. He also served a short term in the U. S. Army until he was medically discharged. Afterwards, he begin working with Admiral Security Company in Washington, DC until he became ill.
Tony loved fishing, his three aquariums with various types of fish, his parakeets, drawing, carpentry, music (Rihanna), and smooth jazz.
Tony leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Kiyona T. Robinson (Michael), six grandchildren, Brianna, Anthony, Dominic, Michael Jr., Tyler, Zoey; his mother, Yvonne S. Hunt, sister Nanette S. Dale, brother, David Sandifer, two nieces, Nakia Y. Sandifer, Kiera J. Sandifer, and one great niece, Makaylah A. Smith.
Tony also leaves a host of family members and friends.
