Beverly was born the second child to William Ellsworth Hale and Mary Emmalene Hale. She was educated in DC Public schools and grew up to work for Marriott Hotels where she met and later Married Charles Edward Fleming (who preceded her in death). She later worked as a Federal Contractor at the Naval Research, at the Suitland Federal Center and at the Presidential Command Center in Washington DC. She was an avid Redskins fans but even more than that she loved shopping and watching movies. She was preceded in death by her father and Mother as well as by siblings Michael E. Hale (Mary J. Hale), William G. Hale (Cheyenne C. Curtis), Sharon L. Hale (McKinley Riley), Howard V. Hale (Francine Hale) and Phyllis Shorter. She is survived by her sisters, Joell A. Hale and Gloria Hanford.
She also leaves to mourn nieces LaShaun S. Hale, Michelle D. Minor, Kia D. Hale and Elaine Williams, as well as nephews William G. Hale Jr. (Angela), Darrell M. Hale (Veronica), Derryc L. Hale (LaTreinia), Dominique Hale, with Kevin Curtis, Aaron Turner and Vincent Proctor predeceased as well as her stepson Charles Fleming Jr. She also leaves great nephews Jamaal J. Hale, Jabraiyl J. Hale (Rayniece) and Javon J. Hale and a host of other relatives and friends.
