Carolyn Lucas Hillocks, our beloved mother, sister and friend, was called to her eternal rest on July 14, 2023. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Hillocks and Michelle Mayo (Tim); son, Michael Hillocks; grandchildren, Nathaniel Davis, Chanel Mayo, Armani Mayo, and Angelese Davis; great-grandchildren, Malachi, Christopher, Nathan, Amena, Addisyn, Ayana, and Nehemiah; brother, Ronald Lucas, Sr. (Malcine); sister-in-law, Willette Lucas (the late Kenneth Lucas); and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives. Carolyn will forever be celebrated for her love of her family, friends, and church family. May she Rest in Power! Funeral services entrusted to J. B. Jenkins Funeral Home, will be held at New Bethel Baptist Church, 1739 9th Street, NW., Washington, DC, on July 28, 2023 at 10:00 am.
