Clifton Owen Montague aka (Cliff) past away unexpectedly on March , 2023 at age 79.
Clifton was born May 25, 1943, in Washington, DC. He was born to the union of the late Robert Montague and Estelle (Forster) Montague.
Clifton was educated in the DC Public School System. He later moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he lived, until his passing, with his loving companion of over 50 years, Rosa Cooke. They enjoyed many years of traveling, visiting family and friends or just going on new adventures.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Estelle Montague; sons Eric and Louis Montague; brothers Andrew and Robert R. Montague; sister Pearl Montague; nephew Maxwell Orr; and niece Karen Montague-Bridges.
Clifton’s life will forever be cherished in the lives of his surviving relatives and friends. He leaves his daughter Maria Montague-Willis, son-in-law Quinson Willis; Companion Rosa Cooke; grandchildren Duane Montague, Brittney Montague, Jasmine Montague and Javon Shipp; eight great-grandchildren; brother Morris Montague; sisters Thelma Harley, Doris Cannatella and Laverne Orr; nieces nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
