Cynthia Denise Morsell Berry was born in Washington, DC on September 4,1964 to parents Sandra Jeter and Allen Morsell. She was educated in the DC and Montgomery County, MD school systems, graduated from Montgomery Blair High School, and continued her education at Howard University.
Her marriage to Melvin Cross produced one son, Jamel, who preceded her in death. In 2004, she married Edward “Tony” Berry.
Cynthia’s employment history was extensive. In 2013 she joined the staff of the Ourisman Automotive Group, working as an accounting clerk. She was named the Ourisman of Bowie Employee of the Year in 2020.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially Tony, her “children” and “grandchildren”.
Cynthia was plagued by many health challenges in later years. Despite her valiant efforts, she entered eternal rest on September 19,2023.
Cynthia is survived by her loving husband Tony; her “children” and “grandchildren”; numerous other relatives and friends.
