Obituary for Elaine C. Hyson
Mrs. Elaine Carroll Hyson, 84, entered her eternal resting place on Thursday, January 19, 2023, after a long battle with dementia.
Elaine was born on January 8, 1939 in Frederick, MD. She was the daughter of the late James Hamilton Carroll Sr. and Cora Francis Carroll.
Elaine worked as a bookkeeper with the Great Falls College, Montana State University until her retirement in 2001. She loved going camping with her husband and enjoying the outdoors of Montana.
She is survived by her loving husband, Frank Hyson III; two sons, Frank Hyson of Dana Point, CA and Jon Hyson of San Jose, CA; two grandchildren, Jalen Hyson and Jasmine Hyson, both of San Jose, CA; a great grandson, Makai Hyson of Elk Grove, CA; two sisters, Mary Carroll and Phyllis Carroll both of Frederick, MD; one Aunt, Corinthia Brown; one Uncle, Levoyne Carroll (Viola); and a host of devoted nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father James Hamilton Carroll, Sr., mother Cora Francis Carroll, brother James Pete Carroll, and sister Verlia M. Carter.
