Eugene S. Brown was born August 28, 1958, in Prince George’s County MD to the late Mr. Thomas Brown Sr. & Rev. Barbara Brown who both preceded him in death. Affectionately known as Gene, he had five brothers, of which Thomas Jr., Andrew & Kent also preceded him in death.

He attended public schools in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Gene married Octavia Pace on March 22, 1979 & had one daughter from this union. He worked for Daycon Products as a truck driver for 27 years. He was a man of God & dedicated to his family. Gene was ordained as a Deacon & served at Uplift Baptist Church under the late Reverend Franklin J. Pollard for many years. He enjoyed studying the Bible with the late Deacons Daniel Luckett, Herman Morrison & Ralph Mills Jr. Gene also enjoyed fishing with his grandsons, early Walmart runs with his wife & her famous fried chicken. Gene also enjoyed watching horror films with his daughter and not to mention his love for western tv shows & movies.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife Octavia, daughter Eugenia Brown & grandsons Jordan Brown & Justin Nureni, one brother Robert Jerome Brown, one sister Anika Brown, three brother-in-laws; Curtis Pace, Farrell Pace, Raphael Pace; one Sister in-law, Prader Pace all of the Maryland and D.C area, his special nephew Justin (Brianna) Brown of Greenville, SC, Goddaughter Chante Harrell of Maryland, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
