Henry Nathaniel White of Capitol Heights, Maryland passed away on May 10, 2023, while in residence at the Complete Care Nursing Facility. He was born on November 16, 1940, the son of Frank and Alice Neal Dixon White. Henry was born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia but grew up in Danville, Virginia. He was educated in the public schools system in Danville. In his late teens he moved to the Washington, D.C. area.

On January 28, 1963, he married Phyllis Frazier. To this union five children were born. In 1964, he was employed by Parking Management Inc. (PMI). He was a diligent worker, working 6 to 7 days a week and never wanted to take a vacation. In 1988, due to health issues he became disabled and unable to work any longer.

Henry was a member of Iconium Baptist Church of Capitol Heights. He was a quiet and friendly person. His aim in life was to provide for his family. Henry wasn’t a very outgoing person, but talking to him would put a smile on your face as he continued to ask the same question over and over. He enjoyed going fishing and watching cowboy shows. He went to baseball games, and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play. Henry had early dementia, so he was enrolled in Helping Hands Adult Daycare Center where he enjoyed playing bingo. They loved to see Mr. White.

He leaves to cherish in his memory his children; Deborah (MD), Henry Jr. (Erika) FL, Darryl (Mercedita) MD, Kevin (Jacqueline) VA, also sisters; Yvonne Armstrong (Frank-deceased) MD and Betty Daniels (Wayne) MD, former daughters- in law Becky Harrison White (MD) and April White (MD); 12 grandchildren, 24 great- grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Marion Clark (Michael-deceased), grandson Harold Moore Jr., and brother Willie Lee White.
