Linda Denise Ramseur was born and raised in Washington, D.C., on November 23rd, 1959. She transitioned from this life on March 17th, 2023, from an extended struggle with upper respiratory failure. Linda was the first daughter and the second child born to Marcus Ramseur and the late beloved, Gladys C. Ramseur who preceded her in death. Linda attended Hamilton Jr. High School, and Mckinley Technology Senior High School, graduating with honors. She sought higher education at University of the District of Columbia and accepted her first professional employment position with the United States Department of Labor. Her exceptional performance as an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist, not only graced her with countless awards and accolades, but would become her lifelong career. Additionally, Linda was known for motivating, inspiring and empowering others, insomuch that she assisted several others in being hired at Department of Labor as well. She continued taking her college courses, obtaining an Associates Degree and still remarkably contributed over 40 years of service to the Department of Labor, and recently retired.

Linda found joy in meeting new people and making new friends. Linda was very energetic, active and athletic. In her free time, she was always ready to go walking, running, biking or swimming. Music and dancing would bring out the best of her loving spirit..She loved gardening; You couldn't beat her flowered cover lawn which would stop traffic. She loved to travel to exciting destinations and most of all she loved being with her cousins including, but not limited to: Vicky, Glenda, Lat, Michelle, Helen, Debra and Donna. She received gratification helping her family and friends. If you needed anything at all, she would be more than willing to assist you. Even if you did something that rubbed her the wrong way, she would put her grievances aside and still be there for you . She was dutiful, ambitious and enterprising; possessing several small businesses which included, a Silk floral arrangement company, a very successful Ebay store entitled "Ruby Lucy", and was launching a Youtube Channel and planning to obtain a Dearler's License to sell luxury vehicles. When Linda walked in the room all eyes were on her. Even at 6ft. tall she would still wear stilettos! She loved fashion and always looked stunning and glamorous. Her sense of fashion was absolutely stellar! Her smile would light up any room and her laughter was infectious; and it will be deeply missed by anyone who's ever had the opportunity to meet this amazing Angel.
