Obituary for Marion Pauline Robinson

On Saturday September 09th, in the early morning hours after a courageous battle, Pauline gently closed her eyes away from pain and tears to be with God in perfect peace.

Pauline was born in Bowling Green, Va. to the late William Arthur and Ida Mae Ferguson on August 16th, 1934, the fourth child (the first girl). During her early childhood she joined the Second Baptist Church, in Ruther Glen Va. and served as an Usher.

Pauline was educated in the Public Schools of Caroline County, Va. After graduating High School, she moved to Washington D.C. There she continued her education in Book Keeping and Finance, where she worked hard for the Safeway's, Shoppers, and Giants stores until her retirement.

This is where she met Otis B. Robinson Sr. who preceded her in death. To this union one son was born, Otis Robinson Jr.

While living in Washington D.C., she joined the Trinity Baptist Church and served as an Usher, also sung with several Gospel Groups.

She relocated to Maryland and became a member of the Adelphi Bible Baptist Church in Adelphi Maryland, and faithfully served as an Usher. "Marion Pauline loved her church and church family"
