Naseem David During was born on March 6th, 1997, to Mitrella (Trell) During and Ethelbert (Lenn) During in Washington DC at Providence Hospital. Naseem was the oldest of four children. He grew up in Landover, Maryland.

In his younger years Naseem enjoyed playing football, listening to music, and dancing. As he got older, he began to produce music with his friends. Naseem was a remarkable, passionate, and talented young man. After graduating from
Fairmont Heights High School, he went to culinary school to become a chef while making music in his free time.
Naseem’s faith in God was truly inspiring and uplifting! Naseem began his Christian walk at the First Baptist Church of Highland Park in Landover, MD.

Naseem was loved by many friends and family. He is described by his friends as an angel and a true brother. He admired his friends and family very deeply.

Naseem leaves many family members and friends to mourn his loss. FATHER, Ethelbert (Lenn) During; MOTHER, Mitrella (Trell) During; SISTERS, Naomi During and Naeemah During; BROTHER, Noah During; GRANDPARENTS, Leonard During and Sally Beckley; AUNT, Tina Hines. A host of GREAT-AUNTS, GREAT-UNCLES, and COUSINS. Naseem leaves behind numerous close friends he considered to be FAMILY, a significant other, and his cats Shadow,
Stormi, Sevyn, Sushi, and Sage. Building a close bond with people was very important to him, he made friends wherever he went! Whether it was at football practice, work, church, in the studio or simply by lending a stranger a helping hand when they needed it the most. He left a lasting impact on anyone he interacted with.

Today we say farewell to Naseem. We do not only mourn, but we would like to honor his life. Our hearts are broken. Our eyes are filled with tears. Our hearts are hurting. We miss and love him so much. We feel pain today but one day, maybe next week, maybe next month, maybe next year when we think of Naseem, a smile will spread across our faces. Let’s pray for all the lives that have been affected by this horrific loss. Godspeed, Naseem. May you rest in peace.
