Amos Olayiwola Ogunkunle, 84, of Ile Omodeni, Fiditi, Oyo State passed away peacefully on October 25th 2023 in Maryland, USA. Born on the 18th of July 1939 in Fiditi Oyo State to Samuel and Kehinde Ogunkunle, he was a devoted christian and lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, humor and honor to God.
Amos lived a full life, rich with the love of his family, the satisfaction of his calling as a teacher, and a dedication to the teaching profession. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend and a respected member of the Methodist Church Nigeria and the Redeemed Christian Church of God both in Fiditi, Oyo, and Landover, Hyattsville Maryland.
He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren, who will forever cherish his memory. Amos' legacy is not only in the love he shared but also in the impactful works through christian community service, and mentorship leaving an indelible mark on those around him.
Amos's warmth, wisdom, and joy for life will be deeply missed but never forgotten. The family encourages all who knew him to honor his memory by reflecting on his values and life.
