Paul Mann Price, Sr., went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2023. He was born on April 11, 1941, in Atlantic City, NJ. Paul attended elementary and secondary schools in Elmira, NY, and graduated high school from Elmira Free Academy. After graduation, he joined the Air Force and worked as a coder in Sioux Saint Marie, MI. In 1962, Paul received his Honorable Discharge
Paul accepted Christ and was baptized as a young boy. Over his life span, he joined and served in several churches in the Washington Metropolitan area, finally becoming a member of Grace Christian Cathedral in Bowie, MD.
Paul loved to learn and do new things. His work career was multifaceted, working in private industry, the Federal government, and for himself–starting his own landscaping business (P&C Landscaping) in the 80’s. After 10 years of back-breaking work, Paul secured a job at the Pentagon as a labor relations specialist using “brain power” rather than physical labor. Paul retired from the Federal government in 2000.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Charlene C. Price; son, Paul M. Price, Jr. (Jodi-Ann); daughter, Chauna P. Price; granddaughter, Marion Monroe; grandson, Duane Thomas; grandson, Josiah Price; grandson, Jonathan Price; and granddaughter, Johanna Price; 3 goddaughters, 2 godsons, and a host of other relatives and friends.
