In October of 1969 Ronald E. Thomas Jr., was born to the late Ronald Thomas Sr. and Geraldine Thomas. Most called him Ronnie or Ron but there were two who called him dad and three who called him “Poppop”.
A retired federal worker, Ronnie, loved spending time with his friends and family. He was selfless, kind and some might say very stubborn. But most importantly he was resilient. Ronnie was diagnosed with Neurosarcoidosis in 2000; and fought a long and hard battle.
Despite his challenges he was the life of the party. He enjoyed traveling, cooking and talking with his grandchildren. Ronnie was filled with so much light and was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, he was called home to be with his father.
He is survived by so many that love him and his light will always be a beacon of hope in a world such as ours.
