Obituary for Thomas W. Bradley

Thomas Wardell Bradley was born on September 14, 1953 in Washington, DC to the late William and Lena Bradley. Thomas was the first child of four children. He gave his life to Christ at a very young age and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at the Way of the Cross Church of Christ on 9th and D Street NE, Washington, DC. , under the leadership of Bishop Henry C. Brooks the founder and pastor.

Thomas attended the District of Columbia Public Schools, Eliot Jr. High and Eastern High School. He worked over 20 years with the DC Public Schools System as a Boiler Room Engineer and he later performed various side jobs within his trade.

Thomas Bradley enjoyed life to the fullest and had a host of friends whom he embraced and enjoyed. He will be missed very much, especially around the table, because he loved to eat.

Thomas experienced a hardship in his early fifties and was disabled in various ways. He went to Baltimore, where he met Angela Snowden Barnes and Ronald Barnes who became his caretakers. Angela and Ronald took care of Thomas until he passed on November 9, 2023 at Northwest Hospital, in Baltimore, MD.

Thomas leaves to cherish his memory, his sisters Loretta Gray (Gregory) and Vivian England; two nieces, Kina Hendrick (Carlos) and Shavonne Forrest; one great nephew Caleb Hendrick, aunts, cousins and friends.

Thomas was proceeded in death by his parents, William and Lena Bradley; his sister Dorothea Fletcher and brother in law Gregory Fletcher.
