In loving memory of Venita Jacobs, who was born on May 19, 1957, and peacefully departed on February 23, 2024. Venita was a cherished daughter of Dewitt Joseph Jacobs and the late Anna Delano Jackson Jacobs. She grew up in the heart of Southeast DC and graduated from Anacostia High School in 1975.

Venita was the life of the party, bringing joy and laughter to all who knew her. Her magnetic personality extended to her roles as a devoted mother to Delonte Trazell and Gary Jacobs, and a loving sister to Velicia Jacobs and Vincentia Jacobs Mabry, as well as the late Valarie Jacobs.

Her legacy lives on through her beloved grandchildren: Piry Trazell, Gionna Jacobs, and King Jacobs. Venita leaves behind a host of cousins, niece, and nephews who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

For four decades, Venita dedicated herself to the United States Department of Agriculture, leaving an indelible mark on her colleagues and the organization. Her commitment and hard work were a testament to her unwavering dedication.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Venita Jacobs for the vibrant spirit that she was, the love she shared with her family, and the lasting impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace.
